As part of the PPS Background Check platform, a mandatory candidate consent requirement will be implemented prior to candidate onboarding and the initiation of any background verification activities.
Effective immediately, before onboarding a candidate, vendors must confirm that consent has been collected. Vendors must conduct all background verification activities in compliance with applicable U.S. federal laws, including pre-adverse action and adverse action requirements, dispute handling, and cooperation obligations.
